MAGNET is a non profit organization operating in eight mid-Atlantic states, approved as a tax exempt venture by the Internal Revenue Service under its 501©(3) designation. As such, it is authorized to accept donations from the general public.
To Carry out its mission of harvesting fruits and vegetables from farms and orchards to fight hunger, MAGNET encourages and organizes opportunities for volunteers to glean farms and orchards to prevent waste of a variety of crops which are then distributed to individuals, feeding stations and food banks.
WE NEED YOU! Together, we may be able to alleviate some of the suffering of people who experience food insecurity. Please contact one of our coordinators. They would love to arrange for your group to join one of our gleaning events (winter, spring, summer or fall - we work year round).
